The Sandpit has been running since February 2008, in all sorts of venues across London and the UK: in galleries and railway tunnels, cinemas and mixed arts venues, parks and public squares. To keep up with upcoming Sandpits, have a look at our upcoming events.
Each Sandpit is different, but there are a few things they all have in common. There are all sorts of different games, for example; games with negotiation, games with theatrical elements, games with silliness or running or hiding or ingenuity or balloons or brightly-coloured craft paper. And you can choose which games to play – there’s a programme for each night telling you what’s going on, and you can pick the games that suit you. And finally, most of the work at each Sandpit is brand new.
