The Financial Times online previews Tate Trumps as spearheading the trend of brands and cultural institutions moving into gaming. “Tate Modern is using a new iPhone application to turn its galleries into a game aimed at attracting visitors.
“Tate Trumps”, unveiled this week, recreates a classic children’s card game with players “collecting” artworks as they move around the gallery. Every artwork is scored under categories such as fame, age, size or absurdity. ”
