The monthly V&A Lates are always brilliant fun – and coming up on 29 October, there’s a night on the theme of Catching Shadows, in honour of the Shadow Catchers: Camera-less Photography exhibition.
Sophie Sampson, friend of Hide&Seek and co-creator of Time*Trails at the 2010 Weekender, is running a treasure hunt game at the event, sending players on a hunt around the galleries – a bit like Where’s Wally, if Wally were an intricately crafted iron sculpture from the eighteenth century.
If you want to be involved – and you definitely should – there are a few things you can do:
- Go along and play.
- Go along and help – Sophie’s looking for volunteers who can help brief players, or make sure they know what they’re doing. There’ll be plenty of time for a break and looking at other stuff happening on the night.
- Or if you can’t make the 29th, Sophie’s testing the game on Sunday the 24th, and is looking for playtesters to give the game a go some time between 2pm and 4:30. It should take about 45 minutes to play, and you’ll be rewarded with delicious tea.
If you want to play, just turn up – but if you’re up for helping out or playtesting, email Sophie at hello@bigstrongpress.com for details.
